Privacy Policy
At Skilful Leaders we’re committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients and of all who contact us, view our website or ask to stay in touch with us. We attach great importance to complying in all respects with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
HERE’S OUR PRIVACY COMMITMENT:
We promise to collect, use and store your personal data in a safe and secure way.
We promise only to use your personal data for the specific purposes stated.
We promise to keep you informed about how we use your information.
…and here’s how we follow through on that commitment:
WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Contact details. We collect your contact details when you get in touch with us by e-mail, telephone, post or the booking and contact forms on our website. Normally this is limited to your name, e-mail and/or postal address and telephone number.
Booking information. We may collect additional information about you if you book a place on our EVOLVING LEADERSHIP development programme. This may include personal information such as your age, previous leadership development experience, fitness, food preferences and similar.
Website analytics. When someone visits skilfulleaders.com we may use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We use the information we collect to tell you about the services we offer and to book your place on our leadership development programme. The legal bases for these are your express consent or the contract we establish between us when you make a booking.
HOW ABOUT STORING, SHARING AND TRANSFERRING YOUR INFORMATION
We store your information on our computers in France, where they are protected by rigorous physical and password security measures. Only the two directors of Skilful Leaders, Simon and Sally-Anne Airey, have access to the data.
We don’t rent, trade or share e-mail lists or any other information with other organisations and businesses. We review data annually to ensure that it’s still relevant and necessary for the purposes we describe above and we keep it for no longer than we need for those purposes.
We use a third-party provider in the USA, MailChimp, to deliver our e-newsletter and store its distribution list. Mailchimp also gathers statistics around email opening and clicks, using industry-standard technologies, to help us monitor and improve our newsletter. MailChimp is certified to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and its systems are fully compliant with the GDPR. Skilful Leaders and MailChimp have signed a formal data processing agreement. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.
